My favorite Flickr mashup leverages the work of an eager band of Flickrphiles who collect and archive images that include only one letter or one number. By automagically browsing their content, it is possible to spell with Flickr. The output looks a lot like this:
and when you view it on the Spell With Flickr site you can click each image to switch it out for a new one. I don't suppose this is particularly useful, but it is an interesting way of extracting meaning and order from Flickr stuff. Go ahead and make your own sign!
